Job Overview

American Paper Converting is an innovative and growing manufacturing firm located in Woodland, WA. Our work environment is fast-paced and team-focused. We convert paper into many of the products your family uses every day including paper towels, bath tissue and facial tissue. Tissue is always in demand, even during the pandemic.

We are seeking to hire an experienced Bookkeeper and Admin Assistant to join our team who will also assist with AR, AP and other support functions. If you're a passionate self-starter, American Paper Converting is a great place to build a career.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Accounts Payable i.e, enter invoices, process payments and file
  • Process Accounts Receivable and assist resolving open balances.
  • Answer inquiries and provide support to customers.
  • Research and respond to billing errors or questions promptly
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory, place maintenance and other operational supply orders as necessary to maintain optimal on hand inventory levels
  • Communicate open orders, bill status, ship delays and issues with affected parties
  • Tracks the status of requisitions and purchase orders
  • Audits invoices and payables for accuracy, receipt of material, and compliance with purchase orders
  • Identify opportunities for process and management improvements, and design and implement new systems
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed

Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and record keeping
  • 2-5 years of work experience in an manufacturing industry preferred
  • Experience in use of ERP systems, Excel, and other relevant analytics tools
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with managing inventory a plus
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Must be a self-starter and driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
