Laborer - Second shift Details:

• Temporary position
• $15.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift

Manufacturing of corrugated products. Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate hand tools, and other duties as assigned. Walk, stand, bend, and kneel throughout a shift.

Laborer - Second shift Qualifications:

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for providing quality while performing miscellaneous manufacturing operations including but not limited to stacking off machines, hand glue or stitch, etc. 

* Stack off various finishing machines (via stacker or by hand).

* Perform miscellaneous hand work such as bundling, folding, sorting, repalletizing, pallet construction, etc. of corrugated or foam product.

* As directed assemble miscellaneous items as specified on the work order.

* Keep count of product produced and tag finished units.

* Maintain good housekeeping throughout the plant, especially in work area.

* Perform miscellaneous job functions as necessary to aid in production and quality.

Knowledge required:

Basic math, reading, and communication skills. and basic to intermediate computer skills. R

eports to: Shift Coordinator Internal contacts: Close working relationship with Shift Coordinator, Operators, Helpers and other production personnel.

Occasional contact with the office personnel, shipping personnel, and other managers.

External contacts: Occasional contact with vendors or customers ( i.e. during a customer audit or visit).

Physical capabilities: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, perform moderate to heavy lifting, turning, twisting and bending.
