The Opportunity 

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a full-time Training Coordinator to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all team members at Grand Canyon National Park complete their required job-related training. You will be part of the important journey by encouraging and motivating team members to continuously develop their skills.

Responsibilities 
  • Create and implement training programs for team members.
  • Book and set-up classrooms for training sessions.
  • Schedule training sessions, distribute materials, and maintain records and attendance sheets.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training sessions by evaluating performance and recommend additional training.
  • All other duties assigned.
Qualifications 
  • Previous experience as a training coordinator or equivalent with proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills required with ability to engage participants.
  • Proficient in MS Office with Word, Excel and PowerPoint emphasis. 
  • Requires critical thinking and time management skills with capability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical training deadlines. 
Physical Requirements 
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • May be required to stand for periods while conducting training sessions. 
  • Visual and physical ability to operate computer, assemble training materials and complete paperwork.

Day shift
Monday to Friday
8 hour shift
Overtime as needed
