Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator/ Charge Nurse for our acute inpatient  unit to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

* You will coordinate nursing care on the unit through staff assignments, assisting/rounding with physicians, coordinating patient orders, communicating with ancillary departments and assisting staff.

* You will coordinate nursing care for the patient and participates in patient / family education.

* You will work collaboratively with ancillary staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

* You will participate in performance improvement activities to improve patient safety and quality of care.

* You will maintain cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).

* Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required

* Three years of acute care RN experience is required.
