Diagnostician (DIAG)

Location: Jonesville, Texas

Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Diagnostician (DIAG) to join our team in Jonesville, Texas. As a Diagnostician in our school district, you will play a vital role in assessing students' academic, behavioral, and developmental needs to support their educational success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services
• Administer and interpret standardized assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning profiles
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to gather information and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide remendations for instructional strategies, acmodations, and interventions to support students' learning and development
• Monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust interventions and support services as needed
• Serve as a resource to school staff and families on topics related to assessment, special education eligibility, and intervention strategies
• Stay current with state and federal regulations related to special education eligibility and assessment practices

Educational Requirements:

• Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field

Certifications:

• Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification or eligibility for certification

Preferred Skills:

• Experience conducting assessments and evaluations in a school setting
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal munication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
