Job Description
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team at a small critical access hospital in SW Washington state. This position offers the opportunity to work in a 25-bed facility, providing crucial pharmacy services in an inpatient setting. The role involves a 4-day work week schedule, with a contract length of 4 weeks. Ideal candidates will have a Washington state pharmacist license, inpatient pharmacy experience, and immediate full-time availability.

Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and clinical discussions as a pharmacy representative.
- Monitor for adverse drug reactions and drug interactions, taking appropriate interventions.
- Ensure pliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and plete documentation of pharmacy activities.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications.
- Work weekdays with some weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
Requirements:
- Valid Washington state pharmacist license.
- Previous experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Immediate availability for full-time work.
- Ability to work a 4-day schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
- Strong munication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
