Soliant is currently seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Winchendon, MA for the 2023-2024 school year. This position is full-time, onsite, and has a K-5 caseload.

Job Details:

• Caseload: K-5 (elementary)
• Onsite: This position requires onsite presence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in various subjects.
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education and Master's degree in Special Educationrequired
• Valid Massachusetts state licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Must have Academic Teacher Credential with moderate or severe disabilities
• Experience with K-5 students preferred
• Experience working with special needs students preferred
