Job Description:

Our client is looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage all financial aspects of their business operations. In this role, you will be responsible for performing full-cycle accounting duties, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.

Manage cash flow and monitor financial transactions for discrepancies or irregularities.

Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of financial transactions.

Evaluate and improve accounting processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred, but not required.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in the HVAC industry or related field.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar programs.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
