Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.
Soliant, a leading education staffing agency, is seeking a Paraprofessional for a contract position located in Merced, CA. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting students and educators in a school-based setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Merced, CA
- Type: Contract; Full-time; 35 hours/week
- Contract Period: ASAP-June 6th, 2024
- Benefits: Weekly paychecks, United Healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), dedicated recruiter support
Responsibilities:
- Assist students with academic tasks under the direction of certified teachers
- Support classroom management and student engagement
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement educational plans
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with students in an educational setting preferred
- Ability to pass background check and meet state-specific requirements
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
State-Specific Requirements (California):
- pletion of at least 48 semester units at an accredited institution of higher education OR
- Possession of an associates degree (or higher) OR
- Passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment Test
