Manufacturing Engineer

Summary: Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in metals, welding, and automation to enhance efficiency and improve processes within our facility.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with metals, welding, and automation

• Experience in continuously improving operations used to turn raw material into finished products is necessary

• Ability to collect data and conduct time studies for part cycle times and work closely with programmers to enhance part cycle times

• Skill in identifying and recommending changes to facility layout for machines, storage units etc. for more efficient processes

Preferred Skills:

• A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Support the efficiency and improvement of processes within the facility

• Be responsible for continuously enhancing all operations used to turn raw materials into finished products

• Collect data and perform time studies for part cycle times and collaborate with programmers to improve these times

• Identify and suggest facility layout changes to machines, storage units etc. that can lead to more efficient processes

Please note: Candidates from the Automotive or Aviation/Aerospace industry will not be considered. Local candidates are highly preferred.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
