Patient Care Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator for our healthcare client located in Indio, CA. This role will be a contract-to-hire opportunity and Monday-Friday, full time hours. The role will be focused on administrative duties including patient check in/out, insurance verification, obtaining referrals, scheduling patients, updating demographics, and all aspects of the clerical processes. 

Our client is open to a great customer service background - no prior healthcare experience require - this is a foot-in-the-door opportunity to gain healthcare experience! 

Requirements 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience required, healthcare experience desired (not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 

Skills 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a great customer service experience 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt as needed
• Able to be a team player, but also produce independently 
• Tech savvy and ability to pick up on different software systems 

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
