Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Position: Special Education Teacher
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: August 14th Location:
Onsite only Classrooms: Self-contained
Grade Levels: Elementary-High School
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic subjects
- Collaborate with other special education staff and general education teachers to meet the diverse needs of students
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
Qualifications:
- Valid special education teaching license
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities
- Strong munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
