Our Law Firm Client is a dynamic and growing law firm looking for a talented Accounting Clerk to join their finance team. They are committed to providing excellent services to their clients and maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and integrity. Position Overview: As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in their finance department by assisting with various accounting tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting and grow within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks or MS Dynamics.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably using QuickBooks or MS Dynamics.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
