Production Engineering Technician (Night Shift)

Entegris is growing at our Burnet, TX chemical manufacturing plant and expanding the team! This person will be responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting the purification process. Additionally, you will perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspecting products. This role will be part of a team that strives to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while meeting the timeliness of our customer's demand. You will also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally.

$3,000 sign on bonus offered!

Shift: 6PM-6AM on a 3-2-2-3 schedule once fully trained and certified.

The role will have 3 primary responsibilities:

• Initiate, monitor, and troubleshoot the purification process from start to finish
• Pull chemistry samples and submit them to the lab for analysis
• Fill different-sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product

Additional responsibilities include:

• Perform inspection of the complete product to ensure proper quality standards;
• Perform lab maintenance; including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup, and waste disposal;
• Ensure on-time delivery of low-volume products from make to ship;
• Propose and implement process improvements;
• Work safely and ensure the safety of co-workers, while striving for zero safety incidents.
  

• 2+ years of mechanical experience in a related field preferred;
• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Previous chemical handling experience preferred;
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus;
• Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience preferred;
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000;
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs;
• Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks;
• Strong technical problem-solving capacity.
