River’s Edge Construction is currently seeking a Carpenter's Helper to join our team! River’s Edge focuses on residential interior renovations and light commercial construction in Columbia and Jefferson City. Including but not limited to, Kitchen and bath remodels, Decks, Apartment maintenance, Commercial interior finish

We are looking for skilled Carpenter Helper that is motivated to perform quality work. We are looking for individuals who are motivated to achieve higher quality each time they perform work. Individuals who can be proud of the team they are on and jobs they accomplish. We will provide on the job training for hard working individuals that lack experience.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Assists carpenters by holding and securing lumber used in build process; ensures lumber is level or plumb during installation
• Assists with building forms for pouring concrete.
• Loads and unloads building materials to be used on construction projects
• Builds and disassembles scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures used on construction sites
• Dig trenches and holes needed in construction projects
• Person other related duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors, foreman and carpenters
• Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
• Self-motivated and hard working
• Reliable and dependable

Compensation/Benefits:

• Starting at $20-$30 per hour depending on experience
