Salary: $45k-$50k DOQ
Northwestern Mutual - Alexandria is an established comprehensive financial advisory firm. We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented individual for the Operations Assistant position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Service Support:
- Accurate completion of insurance applications with clients via phone or in office
- Medical exam scheduling, and monitoring
- Clear communication with underwriters and clients throughout the process
- Prepare policies for delivery and obtain all required signatures
- Provide excellent client service
- Prepare for client meetings as directed by Financial Advisor
General:
- Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up appointments for Advisor
- Manage client correspondence, notes, and files in a manner consistent with compliance requirements
- Aid in maintenance of client relationships and engagement
- Support other team members as needed/requested
- Complete other projects or tasks as requested

Qualifications and Skills
- Life, Accident & Health license preferred
- 2-year business degree and/or financial services industry experience and licensing
- Administrative support or client relations experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new computer programs quickly
- High degree of personal organization and time management skills, ability to multitask, and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work supervised, independently without supervision, and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
