MISSION

Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts including cash, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, inventory, fixed assets, accrued expenses, and notes payable
  • Prepare and review financial statements by analyzing accounts through trend analysis and expense review.
  • Post standard, monthly and closing journal entries
  • Communicate with location managers via phone and email concerning financial statement information
  • Prepare year end audit reports for external auditors
  • Other data analysis and financial projects
  • Seek training opportunities and complete ongoing training, as assigned
  • Identify miscoded items and reclass correctly
  • Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
  • Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
  • Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management


Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Job-Specific Experience: 3-5 years
  • Driver’s License Required: Yes
  • Other Job-Specific Licenses or Certifications Required: CPA and/or CMA certification preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (KSA’s)

  • Economics & Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications.
  • Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This position services Purcell store and center managers and other departments.
  • Work As a Team – work with other employees to accomplish tasks

Tools & Technology KSA’s:

  • Computers and Programs — Knowledge and proficient use of computer hardware and software (AS400, Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Accounting software)
  • Typing – Ability to type at 55 wpm
  • Calculator – Efficient skill with a calculator
  • Phone Systems – Ability to operate phone systems for the effective communication of information to interested parties
