Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Tech to join our team in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and laundry services, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cleaning tasks in patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas, following established procedures and guidelines

- Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other items, ensuring proper handling and storage

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, notifying management when supplies are low

- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Respond to requests for additional cleaning or laundry services as needed

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly

- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a high level of cleanliness and service throughout the hospital

- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry services, preferably in a healthcare setting

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physical stamina to perform cleaning and laundry tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs.
