Job Description

Job Title: IT Program Manager

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for all contract-related issues and requirements for Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) West Desert Test Center (WDTC) Data Sciences Division (DSD) IT Support contract.
  • Responsible for budget estimates, budget control, scheduling, and material acquisition in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for maintaining required staffing levels through close collaboration with corporate Human Resources and Recruiting personnel.
  • Responsible for managing a workforce required to operate, configure, test and maintain network operations, Infrastructure/Boundary Protection Operations/Network Management, Directory & Authentication Services, Storage & Virtualization Services, Operations Support, custom software development and test support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must possess not less than 5 years Program Management experience managing a DoD contract of not less than 20 personnel that includes onsite and remote personnel.
  • Must have experience collaborating with Government personnel to meet contractual objectives.
  • Must possess extensive experience providing reports in accordance with the contract deliverables.
  • Must possess the skills and abilities required to analyze CPARs evaluations and determine any performance improvement strategies to increase CPARs ratings.

Required Certifications/Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Leadership

Preferred:

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Leadership
  • TOP SECRET DoD Clearance

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional classroom and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install/repair computer equipment.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

  • Light to moderate lifting is required.

  • Be able to lift and move electronic equipment in excess of 40lbs in and out of classrooms, labs, and test center.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.

Travel:

Will be required to travel 25% of the time, as needed to support this position. Extended travel requirements to locations within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) locations.

  • Current US Government issued Secret clearance
