Position: Farmhand Concierge

The Farmhand Concierge is an hourly position responsible for servicing customers in the Farm retail stands in conformance with established Farm policies, strategies, and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of customer service and responsiveness to the needs of individuals, families, businesses, and organizations served by the Farm.

1) Provides courteous and attentive service to customers by answering questions, answering phones, sampling product and solving customer concerns. Keeps familiar with retail layout and stays knowledgeable about retail items in order to answer questions. Ensures the highest level of service, environment, and quality product is provided. Builds customer relationships and ensures a positive experience for every visitor in the store.

2) May assist with promoting the Farm in various Social media Sites, creates content for reels and stories. Assists with sending out daily lunch special emails and other promotions.

3) Assists with organizing Farm Tours and greeting visitors arriving for tours.

4) Responsible for keeping counter areas clean and orderly. Assists in keeping the retail facilities clean and organized, including basic bathroom maintenance.

5) Other responsibilities including, but not limited to bagging groceries, cart retrieval, maintaining neat and orderly work spaces and sometimes assisting customers to their cars with purchases.

6) Communicates with managers and shares feedback, requests, questions and complaints to the appropriate department.

The above is a description of the ordinary duties of the position. It should be expected that from time to time, other duties both related and unrelated to the above may be assigned, and therefore, required.

Position Requirements:

Previous customer service experience, preferred. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skill. Familiarity with the Farm and Island is preferred. Must possess strong work ethic. Requires an ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
