We are currently seeking a Truck Maintenance for our Crestline (in the mountains north of San Bernardino) Division.

Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Maintenance

SALARY RANGE: $22.75 - $28.45/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• R & R engines, R & R transmissions (automatic & standard), overhaul PTO’s, air and electrical systems, R & R suspension work, brakes, tires, hydraulic system repairs, R & R clutches, road assistance,
• Assist other employees with PM service,
• Follow safety rules and keep work area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Know how to complete vehicle inspection forms.
• Able to conduct 90-day inspection as DOT requirements.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair both air and electrical problems. Must be able to drive vehicles and forklift safely.
• A valid California Driver’s License is required

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5 Years experience on heavy-duty diesel and gasoline truck repair and equipment maintenance.

PHYSICAL:

• This description requires that the individual walk, sit, stand, touch, stoop, lift and climb or move heavy objects up to 75lbs.

• Physically demanding.

• Work overhead and underneath equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Will be exposed to outdoor weather heat, cold, rain, wind, and will be exposed to moderate levels of noise and dust.
