Job Title: Counter Sales Representative
Reports to: Branch Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary:The Counter Sales Representative will support walk-in customers with plumbing products, special orders, and will be responsible for processing transactions, maintaining counter inventory levels, and ensuring accurate product pick-up.

Duties/Responsibilities:- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in identifying their plumbing needs.
- Provide product recommendations and technical assistance to customers based on their requirements.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom and ensure that all products are properly displayed.
- Stock shelves and replenish inventory as needed to ensure adequate product availability.
- Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, and provide information regarding product pricing, availability, and specifications.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to fulfill customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new product launches, and pricing updates.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Assist with special promotions, events, and marketing initiatives as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in plumbing or sales is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a plumbing or home improvement environment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing products, including fixtures, pipes, fittings, and accessories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency in using computerized point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work holidays as required.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand or extended periods.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
