The Country Club of Mount Dora is seeking a full time, salaried Maintenance Manager to join our team. Salary Range: $40,000 Annually

Job Description:
Oversees and provides for daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation.
  • Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the entire facility.
  • Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds.
  • Receives calls for troubleshooting on building and mechanical systems. Reviews requests for service, determines whether problems can be resolved in-house, sets priorities, performs or assigns work to other maintenance staff.
  • Inspects building and grounds to ensure safety and to identify problems.
  • Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower productivity, costs and other expenses.
  • Manages department members that may include, but not limited to: Assistant Maintenance Mangers, Housepersons and Maintenance Staff.
  • Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new employee. Develops ongoing training programs for department.
  • Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to all departments.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required

Degree/Licenses:
Associates (AA) degree; or two to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in managing personnel.

Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, tastes, smells, talks, hears, uses hands to finger, handle or feel and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, crouches, balances, stoops, kneels, pushes and pulls. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.
