The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates and directs the maintenance team in maintaining the physical integrity, general maintenance, repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects for the apartment community, while insuring a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and anyone else working or visiting the property.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, perform, and assign and direct maintenance team to perform minor and routine maintenance and repairs.

• Electrical and plumbing (including water lines)

• A/C and heating systems

• Appliances

• Interior/exterior lights

• Boiler, gas and electric

• Pool areas and equipment

Communicate assignments to the maintenance team, monitor, coach and advise, making sure they have complete instructions, supplies, tools, safety equipment and knowledge of safety processes to complete the task property and are operating safely and efficiently.

Qualifications/Requirements

Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance

Three years' experience in apartment maintenance

Supervisory experience preferred

HVAC Certification

Driver's License
