Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full-time social worker in our social work department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, Humanities, Social Work, or a Registered Nurse.
- Two years experience in a healthcare setting.
- Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patients, family members, medical and hospital staff, ability to be both a team member and a team developer, ability to energize and focus people to work together to achieve goals and objectives.
- Conciliation/facilitation skills; analytic; problem solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for serving as a liaison between patients and hospital staff, assisting patients in interpreting hospital policies, procedures, and services and in resolving problems and concerns. Monitor patient satisfaction and contribute to the continuous improvement of overall hospital and health service operations. Assist in safe discharges for patients including swing bed.
