Quality Control Leader

Description:

We are looking for a Full Time Quality Control Lead to join our team in Ashland, VA. We are a growing company with opportunities for career advancement and development. The Quality Control Lead works closely with the General Manager and Production Supervisor(s) to ensure products meet our set of standards. This position will perform assessment, documentations and organizational tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of our process.

Education and Experience

· High School Diploma

· Knowledge and working experience with steel and fabricated shapes

· Knowledge and previous experience with quality control/inspection.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.

· Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, and computers.

· Ability to learn industry standards for galvanizing.

· Blueprint reading capabilities.

· Documentation and reporting skills

Minimum Requirements

· Must have excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

· Ability to multitask and stay focused in a demanding environment.

· Ability to occasionally move / lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
