Weekend Maintenance Technician

Location: Cedar Springs, MI

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday + a week day of your choosing (6am-6pm)

Pay: $23-$28/hour based on experience

What You’ll Get To Do:

Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, this is an on-site, 12-hour day weekend shift (Friday-Sunday), non-exempt position. The organized, self-motivated, individual in this position is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines/equipment.

•Troubleshoots and repairs production machinery/equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines/equipment, racking systems, etc.

•Adjusts functional parts of devices and control systems/instruments

•Repairs and/or replaces defective parts

•Installs special functional and structural parts in devices/machines

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

•High school diploma or GED

•3 or more years mechanical maintenance experience in a production environment maintaining production equipment (thermoforming experience preferred)

•Reads and understands electrical diagrams and blueprints

•Programs and understands PLCs

•Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

•Excellent communication skills
