Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
  • Develop and manage the nursing department budget.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in healthcare technology and practices.

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing license and current CPR certification.
  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).
