Manpower of Aiken has immediate production positions open for Newman Technology. Newman Technology applies the most advanced local resources available to support every major automotive market in the world providing design, development, and productive for exhaust system, frame and trim products.

Pay is $11 an hour!

Associate is responsible for achieving daily production goals, customer quality requirements and delivery expectations with little to no scrap and rework. Associate is required to follow all current Manufacturing Work Instructions located at each specific work station.

 

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Able to read, understand and apply Manufacturing Work Instructions.

• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

• Consistently produce good quality product.

• Able to work overtime, possibly with short notice to meet business needs.

 

 Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Follow and perform specific job functions as outlined in the Manufacturing Work Instructions.

• Meet daily quality expectations and production goals.  

• Inspect all parts prior to shipping to ensure quality standards are met.

• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management.  

• Adhere to and maintain the following policies, procedures and guidelines:

o Safety

o Quality

o ISO 9000 and 14001

o Associate Handbook

o 5-S
