Now hiring for 3-day work week Friday - Sunday. You work 30 hours, but we will pay you for 40 hours.

PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION (PRP) HOUSING SPECIALIST- Weekend Services

PRP Housing Specialist Weekend Services Position Summary:

The Housing Specialist is responsible for assisting with housing search and placement with clients who have co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in developing person-centered treatment plans, monitoring, and documenting progress, that includes housing procurement, financial, and self-sufficiency goals.
• Attend agency housing meetings weekly, community housing meetings, and establish relationships with community shelters.
• Provide high quality treatment using evidenced based practices.
• Coordinate treatment and stabilization with identified natural supports and with community service providers.
• Provide mediation and advocacy with landlords on the client’s behalf to develop a workable plan to obtain and or maintain housing.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Two years related experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Full valid driver's license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
