What You’ll Do  

• Prepare batches of baked items including pastries, breads, cakes, tarts, cookies according to designated recipes 

• Mix dough, shape bread loaves and rolls, and prep ingredients for next day use 

• Decorate cakes and platters, add filling to pastries, etc. 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of entire bakery station 

• Follow proper food safety and handling procedures 

• Take inventory of supplies and ingredients, place orders if needed 

• Ensure freshness, consistency, and quality presentation of all baked goods 

• Package and wrap baked goods properly for storage 

• Collaborate with Executive Chef and kitchen team as necessary 

Qualifications 

• 2+ years high-volume baking experience in restaurants or hotels 

• Knowledge of scratch baking methods, techniques, and specialty ingredients 

• Attention to detail and pride in your work 

• Exceptional sanitation and organizational skills 

• Ability to repetitively lift 30 pounds bags of flour, mixing bowls, etc. 

• Reliability to work assigned overnight shifts with minimal supervision 

• Culinary degree preferred but not required
