CLINICAL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

To serve as a point of contact for both patients and clinic staff to optimize access to the clinical services available; increase the efficiency of interactions between patients, pharmacists, and other clinic staff to maximize the number of appointments and eliminate gaps in communication; decrease administrative responsibilities performed by the pharmacists to allow them to dedicate more time to direct patient care. This person would assist the Pharmacist(s) in assuring the availability, quality, continuity and appropriateness of pharmacy services. Job duties would include collecting data to assess patient outcomes and scheduling appointments for patients. Access to electronic medical records, dedicated phone line, computer, scanner, copier, other office supplies would be provided. We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma or equivalent, certified pharmacy technician (preferred), has great interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone, has the capability to use common computer programs including spreadsheets, word processing documents, and electronic medical records, has good organizational skills and the ability to schedule and prioritize tasks, and is proficient with common office resources (phones, computers, scanners, etc.).
