The Saturday Caregiver position at Senior Helpers – Portland/Vancouver offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00-20.00, paid on a biweekly basis. Job Summary:
Senior Helpers – Portland/Vancouver is seeking a compassionate and responsible Saturday Caregiver to join our team in providing quality care to our client in the Stevenson, Washington area. The Saturday Caregiver will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Schedule:
8:00am- 8:00pm Every Saturday.
Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship
• Assist with activities of daily living such as Ambulation and Transfers/Continence and Toileting Care/ Dressing and Grooming/ Eating Assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishes
• Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
• Monitor and report any changes of condition
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client’s care and activities
• Communicate effectively with clients, and care team members
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and possibly other days as needed
