Dauphin Precision Tool goes to market under the Brubaker and Weldon names.  Brubaker Tool was established in 1881 and produces end mills and taps, with an increasing emphasis on threading products, particularly high-performance taps.   Weldon Tool was established in 1918.  Weldon products include high speed steel and cobalt end mills, premium carbide end mills, zero flute countersinks and many specialty tools.  Brubaker and Weldon are part of the Heritage Cutter family of cutting tools and brands.

 

Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC is looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.

To be a successful in this position, you should have the ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate excellent project management. You should also have excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.

 

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
  • Preparing customer quotations.
  • Managing capital and R&D projects related to:
    • Equipment installations
    • Infrastructure
    • Product & Process Improvement
  • Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with fellow engineers to create more efficient project methods.
  • Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
  • Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
  • Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

 

Project Engineer Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management
  • Solidworks/AutoCAD experience
  • Understanding of manufacturing environment
    • Material Flow
    • MRP/ERP Systems
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
