CT Technologist - Imaging (Nights)

The CT Technologist plays a vital role in the Health System's mission, values, objectives, procedures, and policies. The technologist carries out a range of CT procedures, both invasive and non-invasive, and may need to use independent judgment. They should exhibit ingenuity and initiative in carrying out prescribed ionizing radiation procedures used for radiological diagnoses. Additionally, they may need to take on extra responsibilities for designated duties. A CT Technologist must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be patient, tactful, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all constituents, including patients, physicians, and other associates. They should also be flexible with work schedule changes, cooperative, and collaborative, and have the ability to work with speed and proficiency while under stress. The skills of a CT Technologist include performing various CT exams, such as neuro, abdomen, and ortho, and assisting the Radiologist with invasive procedures. A CT Technologist should have either MT Certification or MLS Certification.

To be eligible for the position, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience is required - ARRT certification is required
- BLS certification is required - Certification by the Ohio Department of Health is required
- CT experience is strongly preferred
- ARRT registry in CT is preferred, or required within 1 year of hire eligibility
- Graduation from an AMA accredited Radiography Technology program or its equivalent is required Additionally, the applicant must hold the following certifications:
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification Furthermore, the applicant must be licensed in the state of Ohio.
