Location: Barker, NY, or Lansing, NY area. Preferred to be within 2-3 hour drive to primary sites. Our company does not offer Visa sponsorship. Relocation is available within the United States.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Construction with Substation and Power transmission experience to join our team working at multiple data centers located across two locations in upstate NY, Nautilus Facility in Pennsylvania, MOP Data Facility in Montana among other potential sites acquired thru acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, with a focus on power systems engineering and electrical distribution systems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure while promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for high voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution, and the electrical apparatus connected to such systems.
• Conduct detailed analyses and evaluations of electrical systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage current electrical system protective relaying devices and protective schemes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, technicians, and project managers to support data center operations and maintenance activities.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments of electrical equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments, and emergency response drills to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, project management or related field, Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power systems engineering or the utility industry.
• 3-5 years Project Management experience
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, NESC, IEEE, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel within United States along with passport to travel internationally
