Status: Seasonal – Friday/Saturday occasional Thursdays from May 16th – Aug 31st.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports to Company Store Manager.
JOB SUMMARY:
A Company Store (Camper Cookout) Member is responsible for ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience by greeting customers and serving food & beverages while maintaining food & beverage safety protocols. Individual responsibilities may include demonstrating outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the camper stocked with merchandise, assisting in the display of food and beverage options, and providing product information.
They must process payments by totaling purchases. Maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting store's commitment to our customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs all procedures related to outside brat and hot dog stand (Bob’s Camper).
- Performs tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and maintaining equipment and camper.
- Take heating equipment (nesco) temperatures at scheduled times and record those temperatures.
- Answer customer questions concerning available products, price of product and related questions about the company store or schoolhouse market.
- Performs all procedures that are required to operate the cash box accurately and efficiently.
- Closes out the register at the end of the day.
- Assisting store staff with their duties.
- Maintaining cleanliness of workstation, outside seating area, and any other area required or requested by management.
- Cleaning and sanitization skills
- Ability to multitask and organizational skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Language Skills- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Reasoning Ability- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
