Shift: Days / 7a-3p (8x5) 40 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

• 1 year experience
• Must be certified and currently registered by the ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB) Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS) or ARRT in Sonography (S) or (VS) within one year of hire required
  
• Diploma/certificate from an Ultrasound college/school required
• BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS

Day Shift 5 x 8s Must have RDMS in at least one of the following - Abdomen OB/GYN Breast preferably they have their RVT as well experience with procedures - paracentesis thoracentesis and assisting with core needle biopsies would be ideal able to scan the most common general and basic vascular exams(carotids and DVTs).

Job Summary:

Performs ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians. Produces images of internal body tissues in order to diagnose and monitor a variety of conditions such as heart disease pregnancy and cancer. Supervises and mentors ultrasound personnel. Maintains equipment.

Education and Work Experience:

Diploma/certificate from an Ultrasound college/school: Required
Licenses/Certifications:

ACR Accredited Sites: All sonographers must be certified and currently registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB) Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS) or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS) within one year of hire: Required in CA and HI (with multiple areas Preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI RVS) or ARRT-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS): Required
