Production Lead

Schedule: Monday-Friday – 2:00pm to 11:00pm  2nd shift position

Home location: Sacramento, CA 

Pay: $20.00- $23.00

Drug and background check required

 

Production Lead highlights:  

• Basic knowledge of  equipment abilities. Printers, Inserting equipment, Neopost equipment and electric pallet usage.
• Ability to read, understand and accurately execute work orders and special instructions from supervisors.
• Function as a team member of the entire production operation.
• Detail orientation & Quality Consciousness will be extremely important
• Training and instructional skills
• Willingness to accept direction from supervisors and relay those directions to others
• Assigning operators to equipment depending on job needs. Making sure rotation on equipment happens every month.
• Daily meet to prioritize jobs schedule in Print, Letter Shop, and Hand Work Department for the assigned equipment according to Flight Status, within the established time frames for each application.
• Timing ALL roll changes according to standards set by management.
• Staying on top of reprints turnover. From tables moving from Print to Letter Shop, on trays with sorted mail, and reprints turned in daily from Letter Shop operators. Clearing tables to Letter Shop according to standards. Separating #10 work from hand work and 6x9 files.

 

What we look for in a Production Lead:

 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years experience  in overall operations of Production floor
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Mathematical, mechanical and PC aptitude to qualify for advancement to Production Operator
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, and lift frequently
• Ability to do repetitive arm/hand movements
• Ability to continually stand or walk
