Job Details

Position Overview: The REVIT Drafter, reporting to the Design Manager, will utilize REVIT to produce drawings across a variety of construction projects.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Produce design and construction documents in REVIT
• Produce shop drawings for fabrication and construction
• Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to convey architectural design and construction information
• Gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods
• Promote a collaborative team atmosphere
• Work under the direction of the internal architects and engineers
• Convert CAD drawings/equipment layouts into REVIT
• Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
• Produce schedules and bill of materials

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of experience in drafting
• REVIT proficiency
• Knowledge of BIM drafting techniques and software
• Understanding of construction detailing and design techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

• Multifamily construction drafting experience
• Associates Degree or CAD Certifications
