Review of internal control systems: Auditors review a DA's internal control systems to assess their effectiveness and adequacy. This plays an important role in error prevention, fraud detection, risk management, and more. Risk assessment: Auditors assess a variety of risks associated with DA's financial position. These risks may include changes in accounting standards, industry regulations, and economic conditions. Providing audit opinions: Finally, the auditor provides an opinion based on the results of the audit. This can come in the form of 'adequate', 'limited', 'negative' or 'neutral'.
