JOB DESCRIPTION: Is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the testing center and for proctoring of examinations. Tasks includes: Daily site opening and closing; assures equipment is operational; reviews transmission logs of test results upload from current day’s testing and daily download of examinations and site schedule; review test roster and prepare for candidate(s); check in examinees and verifies identification; explain test process and answers any questions and monitors examinees; record and report all problems or discrepancies that may arise in connection with an exam, candidate or test center itself. Perform other administrative duties such as order and inventory supplies, may schedule appointments for possible call-in or walk-in candidates. Minimum Skills/Education: Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred. Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred. Must be flexible in work hours and days. Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to sit for long periods of time and also escort candidates to and from testing room. Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation. Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices and see details from a distance. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional Details: Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a variety of shifts any day - Monday through Saturday - between the hours of 7:15 am and 8:45 pm. Candidate must be open to flexible scheduling. This is a part-time position, 18-25 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed. An option to work a double is also possible if the candidate has the availability. Schedules are available at least 2 weeks in advance. There are 2 positions that need to be staffed when test centers are open: an admin and a proctor. The admin helps with checking in testers, checking ID and legal documents, takes signatures, photo and other biometrics before the tester enters the test room, they help testers access lockers to store their personal items and then helps direct the testers to the proctor and their test room. The proctor assists with proctoring each exam which can be up to 3-4 hours. These positions can swap every so often while on shift. They may also need to file cases in the case system for example, any irregularities with the exam, etc. Light housekeeping is required too. They are paid for any lunch taken but they are not able to leave the test center for lunch. There is no microwave or coffee makers available. A fridge is provided. They will be required to train at an alternate test site but will be present at the Lexington site after training. An open book certification exam is required after training. Compensation: The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
