Seeking school Sign language interpreters-

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sign Language Interpreter to join our teamlocated near Wesley, Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one interpreting services for a student in our school who is deaf or hard of hearing. This position requires a mitment to facilitating effective munication between the student and teachers, staff, and peers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one sign language interpreting services for a student throughout the school day.
• Facilitate effective munication between the student and teachers, staff, and peers in various educational settings.
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support the student's academic and social development.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct for Interpreters.

Qualifications:

• Certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher.
• Experience working as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, educators, and other professionals.
• Understanding of educational practices and terminology.
