Full Time School OT Role

Blazer Jobs is presently in search of a School Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract role within a school district. inCrowley, LA We are actively conducting interviews for this school-based position and require strict adherence to local and state regulations. Candidates with experience working alongside special education students and collaborating closely with families will be preferred.

Requirements: Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Compliance with all local and state regulations applicable to School Occupational Therapists
• Highly desired experience working directly with special education students and engaging closely with families

Responsibilities: As a School Occupational Therapist, duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Creating and implementing personalized therapy plans to improve students' ability to engage in educational activities
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to incorporate therapeutic strategies into students' educational plans
• Providing direct therapy services and interventions to address students' specific needs
• Assessing and documenting students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
