The Synopsys Information Security team helps organizations transform and securely build what's next for the business.

We are on the lookout for a Principal Cloud Security Engineer with a deep focus on engineering, AI, automation, and big data. This role demands extensive hands-on experience in various Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, securing native cloud applications (especially containerized apps), and integration with CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will be a cloud security expert, adept at designing and creating custom software solutions to integrate data from diverse sources, including multiple cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), CSPM/CWPP tools, various scanning tools, and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer and implement advanced cloud security architectures and strategies with a strong emphasis on automation and AI.
• Secure containerized applications and manage secure host and container images in cloud environments.
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Design and develop custom software solutions for data integration from various sources.
• Design and implement big data platform, including data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Analyze big data to generate insightful reports for decision-making, leveraging AI to enhance analytics and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to embed security into the development lifecycle and cloud infrastructure.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and trends in cloud computing, AI, and big data.
• Participate in and assist with incident response activities and forensic investigations when required.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in cloud security at a principal or senior principal level, with a focus on AI, automation, and big data.
• Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in IaC, securing cloud-native applications, and CI/CD integration.
• Experience in designing and managing big data platforms and solutions.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), security frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages relevant to cloud security and data processing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create data-driven reports and insights.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative abilities.
