The Peabody Essex Museum is seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to join the Development Team. Reporting to the Director of Development Operations, the Gift and Database Coordinator will timely and accurately process and report on gifts to PEM from multiple revenue streams (totaling approximately 2,500 transactions a year) using our database, Tessitura. This position will be onsite support for distribution of Development mail, coordinating gift treatment and deposits with partners in the Development and Finance teams.

In addition to gift entry and light database maintenance, this individual will provide functional support for database integration projects, always protecting the integrity of the data.

Qualifications: Demonstrated critical thinking and interest in and knowledge of the customer experience and exposure to financial reporting. Familiarity with fundraising software, particularly Tessitura and prior database experience is necessary. Ability to multitask while maintaining deadlines necessary. Possesses exceptional written and oral communication skills, is a self-starter able to work independently and also has a collaborative spirit. Training will be provided to meet the needs of the position. A bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
