This position will assist in providing electrical maintenance support and operations of the Energy Center simple cycle combustion turbine generating units.

- Must pass the EEI POSS test.
- Must be able to complete the requirements of the Energy Supply Operator Training System.
- Strong electrical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of mechanics, machining, welding, water chemistry, physics and mathematics.
- Demonstrated predictive and corrective maintenance capabilities.
- Interpret and understand P&ID's, logic diagrams, drawings or schematics.
- Utilize the DCS, prints, and manuals for trouble shooting.
- Demonstrate competency with computers including Microsoft Office. Visually read and respond to computer generated data with variations in color, instrumentation, gauges, and digital readouts.
- Ability to work and perform effectively in a rotating shift work environment with overtime as necessary.
- Demonstrated level of initiative and responsibility to perform work with minimal direct supervision including the willingness to work evening and night shifts unattended.
- Proven ability to perform and document workflow processes in a safe and efficient manner.
- Willingness and experience to perform in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Desire to develop leadership skills and function as acting foreman. Willingness to travel to continue training and education. Including cross training in order to perform and assist in daily maintenance and repair activities in a safe, effective and timely manner.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a current Driver's License.
- Good organizational, memory and communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year recent power plant operational experience. Comparable process plant experience may be acceptable.
- Technical degrees or training, applicable military service training, or recognized professional training.
