Progressive Care Unit - Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

CPI Certification is required for all ED and PSYCH Positions and can be obtained during Onboarding

We do not do any block or self-scheduling at any LCMC campus. Willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

Must have worked in a cardiac tele unit with cadiazem, amiondarone, and other set rate drips.

2 years PCU/MS Tele exp required

Floats across MS/Tele and PCU.

Unit Info: Must have worked in a cardiac tele unit with cardiazem, amiodarone, and other set rate drips are hung. Experience interpreting strips and making clinical decisions as to cardiac med admin and drip titration.

Any Permanent Employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel.

Maximum days off: 5 days
