Job Description
Le Quartier Baking in Lincoln, NE is looking for one pastry baker to join our team. We are located on 6900 O St Ste 132. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, creative, enthusiastic and engaged. Typical Pastry baker hours are 5 am to 1 pm but may vary. As always we work to give each of our bakers two days off in a row. We also believe in cross training so people who are looking to learn about artisan breads, desserts and even ice cream are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Baking pastries daily
- Mixing various batters and doughs
- Mixing icing, cookies and scone, etc.
- Help brainstorm and develop new products
- Some production of various dessert items maybe required
- Maintain a clean and productive work area
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Self-motivated
- Trustworthy
- Team player
- Good communication
- Ability to time manage and multitask
- Attention to detail
- Some experience is a plus but is not a requirement
