We are looking for a dedicated Machinist to join our team, focusing on creating distinct products using CNC and various production machinery. This role demands proficiency in programming automated machinery for processing various materials, including metal, wood, and plastic, using equipment like lathes, grinders, and mills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Craft precision components utilizing a CNC Mill/Lathe and grinding machinery.
  • Interpret technical directives, diagrams, and job orders for product specifics like size, tolerance levels, and tooling requirements.
  • Modify, enhance, and refine programs for improved production efficiency.
  • Record programming modifications and process updates for consistent setup replication and production time minimization.
  • Monitor machine operations, ensuring product compliance with specifications through tools like gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Perform deburring to align with blueprint standards.
  • Flexibly set up machines to maximize workshop productivity.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to establish and develop standards and procedural guidelines.
  • Understand and implement tooling and fixture selection based on instructions.
  • Utilize various measurement tools, such as digital calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Analyze measurements to adjust tooling and work offsets accurately.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance, including lubrication.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, chip disposal, and work area.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Capable of working both under supervision and independently.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications


  • 1-3 years of experience in operating and setting up HAAS CNC mills and lathes.
  • Basic computer literacy, including password management, handling production files, email management (preferably MS Outlook), and responsible use of digital resources.
  • Familiarity with Multi-axis, Y & C axis lathes with live tooling is an advantage.
  • Proficient in setting up and operating CNC machinery.
  • Skilled in using basic measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to identify and manage diverse materials.
  • Experience in basic maintenance of grinding, lathe and mill machines.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints for quality checks.
  • Proficiency in following instructions and selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures.
Hours: 1st shift
Pay: $25/hr+ DOE
